This is a “welcoming” but not affirming church. The number of queer people who thought they were affirmed and accepted here in the name of Jesus and then were told they’d been tricked and actually are in outside of the fold class B citizens who are uniquely flawed is … astounding. This church has done immeasurable harm to queer people for many, many years. Steer clear.

The sermons are fun and you learn a lot. But it is not Reality F.S. (Fashion Show). There are many people in attendance (~1000) every week. The coffee is good and you can purchase books;.

I would love to give this Church a 5, but I can't. Worship was great, sermon awesome, Communion plentiful... So what's wrong? No Salvation call and only 2 young children came up to me and said Hi! Blessed are the Little Children! I'm glad I went. Love Michael

The preaching by pastor Dave Lomas is par to none. The music is CCM and beyond, but it's a new song I guess, for me and my husband. We'd prefer some more mainstream songs. We'd enjoy pastor Dave preaching and teaching above other speakers. I'm rating 4 stars because it's my view.

Finding Reality was one of the best things that happened to me since moving to SF. The church is full of young people and families. They have childcare for different ages and all the volunteers are just so so good. My son loves going every week. The main reason I go to, is pastor Dave. He has a way of talking and transmitting his message that just sticks on me. His sermons are so real and so easy to relate to, AND they are so full of biblical passages and other sources that I feel everything he says it's backed up. The worship is also something else, every person I took to church was moved or touched. It is such a powerful experience and such a beautiful community that I totally recommend it to everyone.

Truly some of the best preaching in the nation on a weekly basis. Though I haven't had the chance to attend more than handful of time—as a Santa Barbara resident—I listen to their teaching weekly and it is truly some of the most insightful and biblically sound exposition of the Bible that I've heard in California. A solid place to join in to in pursuit if God.

Planning a visit this Sunday!! Well, I visited and have already started 1st Bible Studies on 9.19.18 and continuing till Dec. People are very genuine. Very organized. Found a new church I can praise our GOD. Simple, no loud music, but brothers & sisters are humble, helpful, caring, passionate with wisdom. Studying the words in the Book of our Bible. I am loved and feel so much lighter in my Heart. Isn't that what we want...to learn, Love, help each other in this hateful, greedy World we call Earth!. Let the churches grow, building more for all who still or not have Faith.

I love my church. And it took about 6 years out of 7.5 to be able to say that. It grew on me. Sadly, I moved to Davis, CA. Perhaps I will come back if it's The Lords will. God bless you all, Reality elders, laymen and staff. Our church has survived so many trials which gave the church more character and backbone! It may be large but you can fight for your fellowship and community you just have to put effort!

One of the most excellent and conscientious Christian communities living out the gospel in SF today. Beautiful, reverent worship service; lecture / sermon is challenging and focused and also a little bit academic for those who are given to studying to pursue a more meaningful understanding of scriptures.
